31.03.2023 Body horror, mutations, cults and eldritch horrors!

It's already the fifth week and things are going forward.  This week was all about the flora and fauna of our world. The creatures that roam the new world, the horrors of the molochite, and how it affects everything around it.  The fauna around the nexus consists mainly of oozy tendril-like vines consuming the landscape around it, all while drowning the ground in this slick, oily substance. A perfect breeding ground for more vines to sprout and a deadly jungle of horrors for everything that sets foot in this dangerous garden of nightmares. The creatures now also have more streamlined mutations with a clear purpose behind them. Some are created to guard the perimeter of the nexus, the so-called guardians are a great threat to everyone who poses a threat to the nexus. Waiting for their call to action, these guardians are waiting patiently in well-hidden spots throughout the vicinity of the nexus to eliminate any threat. The other kind of mutation is the envoy, sleek hunters whose job is to consume, grow and spread the influence of the nexus. These creatures are not afraid to die for their cause, because dying is somewhat expected from them. Their death means that something defeated them and they might be lured in by the glow of the molochite inside their body, possibly infecting them next to create another envoy. If this does not happen their death is not in vain because the molochite itself can spread after some time from this new position.

As the nexus spreads, so do our ideas too and we had some rethinking and streamlining to do this week. Some ideas were changed and some will change in the near future.  I plan on starting the playtest in the near future and worked hard on preparing as much as possible for it this week. 

Jona and Dustblue were working on the world, shaping it, and reworking out some major details. Dustblue also drew a lot, and I mean a whole lot, of pictures to help us, and our teachers to who we were explaining our world too, understand the details about the molochite, how it grows, how it forcibly evolves several creatures, and how these mutations are different from each other and what their purposes are.
